The American Association of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture (AACMA) and the National Association of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture (NACMA) are pleased to present a 2-day advanced clinical training course, integrating modern fascia research with Motion Acupuncture Therapy.

 

This seminar brings together internationally renowned fascia anatomy experts and acupuncture clinical experts to deeply explore the integrated application of modern fascia science and Motion Acupuncture Therapy, providing a more systematic and cutting-edge integrated medical approach for clinical practice.

Carla Stecco, MD, PhD

Professor of Carla Stecco, University of Padova, Italy | Orthopedic Surgeon | Internationally recognized expert in fascia research

Professor Stecco is internationally recognized as a leading authority in fascial anatomy and physiology. Her research has greatly advanced scientific understanding of connective tissue structure, function, and its role in pain and movement.

She has published more than 260 academic papers and authored several classic textbooks on Fascial Manipulation®, which have been translated into 11 languages. She also published the first atlas of human fascial imaging by Elsevier. Her research has been widely applied in orthopedics, rehabilitation medicine, physical therapy, and manual therapy.


Decheng Chen, PhD

Founder of Motion Acupuncture Therapy

Director, New York Natural Acupuncture Health Center

Dr. Chen integrates traditional sinew-meridian theory with modern fascial, muscular functional anatomy, and movement assessment, creating an innovative acupuncture system. He has published 20 books on Chinese medicine and acupuncture, including Motion Acupuncture Medicine, as well as more than 100 academic papers.

His core clinical concept is: precise point selection, effective needling, and movement as the core, combining dynamic needle retention with functional movement to release fascial tension, restore movement function, and improve neuromuscular coordination.

Day 1 – July 25

Carla Stecco: Fascia Anatomy, Physiology, Pain Mechanisms and Clinical Applications

Topics include:

•      Structure and physiological function of fascia

•      Differences and connections between superficial fascia and deep fascia

•      Histological structure and biomechanical properties of fascia

•      Fascial changes under pathological conditions

•      The role of fascia in force transmission and movement

•      Introduction to the theoretical foundations of Fascial Manipulation®

•      Live clinical demonstrations and treatment strategies


 

Day 2 – July 26

Decheng Chen | The Newest Techniques of Motion Acupuncture and Super Switch-Point for Pain Management (Live Demonstration)

Topics include:

• The operational essentials for the Motion Acupuncture technique.

• Super Switch-Point for the Scalene, Subscapularis, Psoas Major, and Gracilis muscles

• Clinical treatment demonstrations for common neck, shoulder, lower back, and leg pain conditions

• Live, on-site complimentary treatment for volunteers presenting with pain 

• Demonstration of clinical treatment protocols for common musculoskeletal pain (neck, shoulders, low back, legs, etc.)

• Free live treatment for volunteer pain patients selected on site using Motion Acupuncture

The standard tuition fee is USD $1,280 per person.

The Early Bird Rate is USD $970 per person (registration deadline: July 12).



Discount Options

    1. Motion Acupuncture students (those who have completed more than 12 hours of online or in-person Motion Acupuncture training), as well as group registrations from organizations such as the American TCM Association (5 or more participants), are eligible for the discounted rate.  Please contact us for details.

    2. Members of the Motion Acupuncture Medical Team (or those who have completed the five-season online course), as well as current students (who has no acupuncture license, with student ID),     are eligible for a special discounted rate of $640 per person.
