1. Three-Unblock Acupuncture
Three-Unblock Acupuncture is a unique acupuncture technology created by Professor He Puren, the National Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the representative heir of the World Intangible Cultural Heritage. It is one of the most important projects of acupuncture inheritance. Fire Needling is a major branch of Three-Unblock Acupuncture, which best represents Master He’s clinical expertise. It is mainly used for treating many difficult and incurable diseases.
Speaker: Professor Yuan Geng
Yuan Geng is the professor of NYCHP. In his early years, Prof. Geng graduated from Tongji Medical University with MD degree. Later, he studied acupuncture by following Professor He Puren, the National Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine. As Prof He’s favorite student, Prof Geng won the finest inheritance of Three-Unblock Acupuncture from Prof He Puren. Prof. Geng has more than 40 years of clinical experience. In this lecture, he will explain the representative TCM thought and Acupuncture technology of Master He Puren in detail, especially on “Diseases are more associated with Qi stagnation and the Three Unblock is a treatment solution”, including the clinical application of Fire Needling, the major technique of Three-Unblock Acupuncture. Combined with his own clinical experience, Prof. Geng will do the on-site demonstration and treatment with Fire Needling.
1. Motion Acupuncture
Motion Acupuncture is a new type of acupuncture method and technique in which the patient carries the needles to do certain movements of body parts during the treatment session. It is mainly used for the treatment of various pain disorders. It generally relieves the pain quickly, and results are often seen immediately. This course focuses on the selection of acupuncture targets and acupuncture techniques of motion acupuncture, as well as on-site demonstration and treatment.
Speaker: Dr. Chen Decheng
Decheng Chen obtained his Bachelor and Master degrees from Changchun University of TCM, and Ph.D degree from Nanjing University of TCT. Before coming to the United States, Dr. Chen worked in Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing, China. He studied for three years as a Ph.D candidate with Professor Maoliang Qiu, a famous Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion expert. Dr. Chen published 17 Chinese Medicine Acupuncture works, and has more than 30 years of clinical experience. He has even used acupuncture to treat the Egyptian president.
