On April 11, 2018, received a letter from the Academic Department of the World Federation of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Societies (WFAS), WFAS [2018] No. 8 document: "Reply on agreeing to establish acupuncture and moxibustion base of the World Federation of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Associations in New York, USA ".

The document pointed out that the American Acupuncture Association (AAA) and the New York Natural Acupuncture & Wellness PC. (NAW) jointly established the "World Federation of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Associations of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture and Moxibustion Base, New York, USA". This is the eighth after the World Federation of Acupuncture in Beijing, Harbin, Shaanxi, Zhangzhou, Macau, and overseas Toronto, Canada and Budapest, Hungary. Representative inheritors are Professor Zhang Jin of China and Dr. Hong Borong of the United States.
