[New York News] From May 4th to 5th, at the Inheritance Base for Acupuncture-Moxibustion of TCM WFAS NY U.S., a seminar on World Federation of Acupuncture was held. This inherited lecture was given by Professor Wu Binjiang, a disciple of the famous acupuncture master Professor Zhang Wei. Organized by the American TCM Acupuncture Inheritance Association and the New York College of Health Professions. In addition to on-site lectures, the event also has online learning. More than 100 people participated in online and offline studies, including students from 13 states in the United States, and most from Chinese medicine practitioners in

Canada and New Zealand.

　　The two-day academic event was held for the Health Students in New York and took place at the Bessai Convention Center. The lecture was given to “Acupuncture Master Professor Zhang Wei's 24-style Acupuncture and Special Acupuncture Points for Special Effects” and “Wu's Original Head Massage and Decompression Beauty Techniques”, benefiting Chinese and Chinese acupuncture professionals in New York and other states in the United States, and other countries.

　　Inheritance Base for Acupuncture-Moxibustion of TCM WFAS NY U.S. was established in June 2018. It was officially awarded in New York by the World Federation of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Associations. The World Federation of Acupuncture is the highest academic organization of acupuncture and moxibustion in China. The inheritance base, the New York heritage base is the eighth, and the only one in the United States.

　　The main task of the inheritance base is to pass on the theory and appropriate technology of Chinese medicine acupuncture and moxibustion. The New York heritage base is based in New York, and it is aimed at improving the technical level of Chinese medicine for the majority of Chinese medicine practitioners.

　　The content of this academic activity is the traditional inheritance project of the World Federation of Acupuncture. In 2010, the World Health Organization officially listed Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion as a list of the world's intangible cultural heritage. Professor

Zhang Wei is the representative inheritor of Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion of the world's intangible cultural heritage. Nearly ninety, it is not appropriate to travel far. This time, Professor Wu Binjiang came to New York on behalf of Zhang Lao. Zhang Laosheng is devoted to the study of acupuncture manipulation. Professor Wu Binjiang, who is a disciple of the introduction of the sputum, will introduce Zhang Lao's 24-style acupuncture and special acupuncture points. At the same time, Prof. Wu Binjiang collected his 45 years of clinical experience, created a unique head massage and decompression beauty treatment, and treated related diseases to share with colleagues.

　　Professor Wu Binjiang who earned his Bachelor’s degree at Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Master’s degree Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Ph.D. at Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in his early years. He is currently the Dean of the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Vice Chairman of the World Federation of China and the United Nations, the Chairman of the World Federation of Initiatives, and the vice chairman of the World Education Association Education Steering Committee. He published the "Mr. Wu's Head Massage Therapy" monograph in English/Chinese/Hungary.

　　In addition to teaching acupuncture theory, this academic activity pays more attention to clinical operation. The course is divided into daytime explanations and demonstrations, as well as evening clinical operations. The specific content involves: inflammation (redness and heat pain) special effects points, special thorn method for acute lumbar sprain special effects,clinical application of analgesic point, core points and treatment experience of pediatric bleeding acupuncture, uterine bleeding needle, the main points of the stab method and clinical experience, the special effects of smoking cessation, the treatment of cutting off the elimination of addiction, and special acupuncture techniques for liver stagnation, liver fire, and suffocation.

　　During the learning process, the students were very serious and experienced the sense of acupuncture. The teacher-student interaction was frequent. An acupuncturist from Mingzhou said that she had never experienced such a strong sense of needle. Everyone said that through the study of acupuncture, the level of acupuncture technology has been improved, and greater curative effect will be achieved in clinical practice.
